If you paid any independent contractors $600 or more during 2025, you’re likely required to issue them a 1099-NEC.
The KRS 1099 worksheet will be hitting your inbox soon. Once you receive it, please complete and return it to us so we can take care of the filings ahead of the January 31 deadline.
If you’re unsure whether a vendor or service provider qualifies, think about who you’ve paid for work who isn’t on payroll — freelancers, subcontractors, LLCs without employees, etc.
