Controller

KRS CPAs, LLC is seeking a Controller with 10+ years’ experience to join our team. The Controller is responsible for executing the firm’s financial strategy and running of all the accounting activities of the firm; which includes managing budgets, forecasting, and negotiations. The Controller ensures that accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and other accounting functions are efficient and timely.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations

  • Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
  • Supervising accounts receivable management and providing guidance relating to the collection process. 
  • Preparing WIP (work in progress) reports, creating and sending invoices for multiple partners.
  • Resolving billing or payment discrepancies and respond timely to client inquiries. 
  • Preparing deposits and accurately applying client (checks, credit cards & ACH) payments. 
  • Preparing annual scope of service checklists for fixed fee clients. 
  • Directing the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, etc. 
  • Generating and analyzing monthly time and billing reports for applicable departments, communicating results (preparing ad-hoc reports when needed).

Budgeting and Planning

  • Developing, implementing, and managing processes for financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting. 
  • Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process, participating in strategic planning, and strategic recommendations.

  • Developing and monitoring business performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience

Executive Assistant to KRS Partners

KRS CPAs, LLC, a growing accounting firm located in Paramus, NJ, is seeking to hire an Executive Assistant to work directly with the firm’s Partners. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. This person will have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to senior managers. Ultimately, the Executive Assistant will contribute to the growth and efficiency of our firm by providing individualized and timely support to our leadership team.

Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role will be to provide administrative and organizational support to KRS Partners.

  • Proactively coordinate complex scheduling and calendar and inbox management, as well as the flow of information to Partners
  • Assist in preparing documents, correspondence, and presentations
  • Anticipate Partners’ needs in advance of meetings and conferences
  • Screen incoming phone calls, delivering detailed, timely messages to the appropriate Partner
  • Work as a team with KRS administrative staff, IT, and other key business partners to ensure successful execution of responsibilities and provide help/support as needed.
  • Act with a high degree of independence while exercising expert judgement to troubleshoot conflicts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience
