Meet the Team: Ruth Ithau

Ruth Ithau joined KRS as a Staff Accountant in June 2025, after serving as an Administrative Intern earlier in the year. Her role now includes preparing and filing tax returns, recording client data through journal entries, and reconciling bank statements.

During her internship, Ruth got to know the accounting process from the ground up. She handled client documents, scanning and organizing financial records before they reached the accountants. That experience helped her build a solid understanding of the workflow and gave her a strong foundation for her current responsibilities.

Ruth graduated from William Paterson University in 2025 with a degree in accounting. She’ll be continuing her studies in the fall through the university’s accelerated MBA program, with plans to take the CPA exam.

She values how approachable and supportive the KRS team is, and says the open, friendly environment has helped her learn and grow quickly. “I am very excited to be a part of KRS and very happy with the continuous growth I have had in the company,” says Ruth.
