Meet the Team: Shayna Jimenez

Shayna Jimenez is a new staff accountant here at KRS, where she supports our team across a range of needs. She contributed to 1099s and tax returns during busy season and is now focused on bookkeeping.

Shayna started at the firm as an administrative accounting intern in January 2025. The internship gave her a valuable look at the profession in action and a chance to learn from team members across the firm. During her final week as an intern, she was offered a full-time position and officially joined the team as a staff accountant on June 2. “I couldn’t have been more excited and grateful for the opportunity,” says Shayna.

She earned her B.S. in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Silberman School of Business in May and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Accounting.

What Shayna appreciates most about KRS is the kindness and patience of the team—qualities that help make the workplace collaborative and welcoming.

Outside of work, Shayna enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and pets. She makes the most of summer days by heading to the pool, the beach, or an amusement park.
