KRS is proud to be named a winner in the Best Practices competition, focusing on leadership this year, sponsored by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and COMMERCE magazine.
The company’s winning entry, submitted by partner Maria T. Rollins, is included in the Best Practices Guide for 2015, published by COMMERCE. Rollins discussed the firm’s open door policy for new ideas from employees and its effect on creating positive buy-in from all team members, leading to improved processes and corresponding profitability. She also described how setting short term performance goals and mentoring of younger staff members has helped achieve, and raise, the high client-service standards of KRS. “All ‘wins’ in this area are celebrated and everyone learns from the experience,” stated Rollins.
The award was presented at the second annual Best Practices Conference on September 17, 2015 at Nanina’s In The Park, Belleville, NJ. KRS was also an event sponsor.
