Meet Roselyn Martinez-Balbuena: From Internship to Full-Time
Roselyn Martinez-Balbuena’s path at KRS started with an internship and quickly grew into something more.
She joined the firm in January 2026 as an Accounting Administrative Intern while finishing her final semester at Ramapo College of New Jersey. After completing her internship in April, Roselyn stayed with KRS part-time. In August, she officially joined the team full-time as a staff accountant.
In her new role, Roselyn assists senior accountants with client tax returns, helps maintain accurate financial records, and supports the team with other accounting responsibilities.
“I take pride in being able to support and learn from my team at KRS,” she said.
Roselyn graduated from Ramapo this year with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and minors in Accounting and East Asian Studies. She is now pursuing her master’s degree in Accounting at Ramapo.
One of the things Roselyn has appreciated most about KRS is the close-knit culture.
“KRS feels like a family,” she said. “Everyone here is very supportive and friendly to each other.”
Outside of work and school, Roselyn enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also likes going for walks, building puzzles, shopping, and heading out for a sweet treat.
Some of her favorite memories come from studying abroad in Japan during the fall semester of her junior year. The experience also introduced her to some of her closest friends, whom she still talks to every day and visits whenever she can.
