Leasing cars, trucks and equipment to businesses in the tri-state area is what Ken Book knows. He’s been doing it successfully since 1978, as president of Book Auto Leasing in Lyndhurst, N.J.
Having timely, accurate data on his firm’s financial position is a critical element in the equation for his company’s success and maintaining solid credit lines with his banks.
That is where Kreinces Rollins & Shanker (KRS), led by founding partner Maria T. Rollins, provided the solution.
“KRS initially took over our company’s bookkeeping services from a full-time, in-house employee. Maria sent in a knowledgeable KRS staffer one day a week to handle these duties,” explained Book. “The KRS bookkeeper was able to do more work in one day than my employee would do in a week.”
Book has since expanded KRS’s responsibilities, and now has the Paramus-based CPA firm handle all accounting functions and financial reporting for Book Auto Leasing, replacing a previous accountant who was a leasing specialist.
“The responsiveness of Maria and the KRS team has been unmatched. Their bookkeeping data is more accurate and timely, and they have saved me money on payroll and benefits. Plus, the cost for their services is reasonable and fair.
“I don’t have to worry about monthly this or quarterly that. It just gets done with KRS,” he said. So Book can concentrate on driving his business to future growth, doing what he knows best.
